Bitten by Both Sisters — Episode 1: First Taste

Jonah hunts vampires for a living, and a month ago the woods took Daniel from him. The body carried no bite at all, only their old silver ring locked in a dead fist and a torn scrap of black lace. Tonight that lace shows up again on the railway tracks. It is wrapped around a platinum-haired vampire in a black halter, her mouth on a stranger's throat.

Episode 1 of Bitten by Both Sisters lets the tension simmer slowly. Morrigan laughs at the gun aimed her way and purrs, 'Jealous, hunter?' She moves faster than anything Jonah has ever chased, and she plays with him like she has all night. One silver bullet finally finds her. She only pouts, 'Ow… rude,' and melts into the dark. Then the burn arrives, low and searing, blooming across Jonah's own chest in the exact spot where his shot pierced hers. A bond neither of them asked for has just been sealed.
